Adaptive system pressure reduction makes NETSTAL’s injection molding machines even more energy efficient

Tags:

NETSTAL has introduced a new feature for its hybrid machines – Adaptive system pressure reduction. This feature is designed to determine the optimal operating pressure in the hydraulic system, which results in reduced power consumption while maintaining the same level of productivity. Additionally, this feature helps in reducing the CO2 footprint and has a quick return on investment. It is worth noting that environmental consciousness has a financial aspect, and banks are now offering better loan conditions to companies that have green manufacturing and low energy consumption.

Contributing to lower CO2 emissions and reducing the ecological footprint

The hydraulic system of hybrid NETSTAL injection molding machines is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 250 bar. However, depending on the application, a lower value would also be sufficient. In automatic mode, the adaptive control system determines the optimum point at any time and adjusts the system pressure accordingly. With the same or even increased productivity, the energy consumption for providing the system pressure is reduced to a minimum. A lower load on the components can also have a positive effect on machine availability, maintenance intervals can be planned more efficiently, and the machine can produce for longer time.

Your cost savings at a glance:

  • Less energy costs
  • Less maintenance costs
  • Lower acquisition costs per year of use

Your NETSTAL machine benefits:

  • Higher availability
  • More efficient service intervals
  • More output

Smaller carbon footprint and increased cash flow

NETSTAL customers can benefit from a reduced carbon footprint and higher cash flow. The machine’s lower energy consumption reduces the user’s ecological footprint, emitting less CO2 depending on the regional electricity mix. The small surcharge can pay for itself within a few months, with the payback period varying depending on the region and electricity costs. Government grants are available for investments in energy-efficient and climate-friendly production facilities. NETSTAL can calculate individual savings potential and demonstrate how to manufacture identical products at a lower cost and with a smaller CO2 footprint. Lower consumption costs and subsidies have a positive effect on the company’s cash flow, extending the life of the machine and lowering acquisition costs per year of use.
